I like working across the seams
What should the product already know before asking someone a question? What belongs in the interface, and what belongs in the system underneath it? When should the product act, and when should it stay quiet? Which parts of an experience should change for each customer, and which should stay consistent?
From first designer to product partner
I joined Vinsyt in 2022 as its first designer. The company had a dealership facing product, but no consumer app and no established design practice.
Since then, I have worked across the consumer app, owner web experience, communications, referral program, and the shared design system behind them.
Working in a small team has kept me close to the entire product process. I help define scope and flows, design the interface and copy, build components and states, and stay involved with engineering as the work moves into production.
How I work
Understand before drawing
I start with questions. The quality of the interface usually depends on context that is not visible in the brief.
Make the decision visible
A good flow should make it clear what the product knows, what it is asking from the person, and what will happen next.
Design the system as well as the screen
I look for the rules behind repeated decisions so the product can grow without every new feature becoming a new design language.
Stay close to delivery
APIs, data, implementation constraints, and content rules affect the experience. I built the prototypes on this site and the site itself, which is where the problems a static frame hides turn up.
Use AI on the real work
I use AI every working day. I drive Figma through its MCP server to build and edit boards directly, and Claude Code to build this site and the prototypes on it. At Vinsyt I have built agentic workflows and MCP integrations as part of the product work. It changed how fast I get to something I can look at. It did not change what makes it right.
What I am looking for
I am interested in product design and UX/UI roles where I can contribute to both the direction of the product and the quality of the experience.
I work especially well with teams where designers stay close to product and engineering and have enough ownership to follow a problem from definition through delivery.
